نامه رییس دانشگاه کاشان خطاب به رییس دانشگاه کلمبیای آمریکا

دانشجویان در بسیاری از دانشگاههای  آمریکا و اروپا در دفاع از مردم مظلوم فلسطین و غزه و همچنین محکومیت رژیم غاصب و ظالم اسرائیل به پا خواسته اند. متاسفانه پلیس وارد تعدادی از این دانشگاهها شده و تعداد زیادی دانشجو را دستگیر کرده است. یکی از این دانشگاهها که در حمایت از مردم غزه و محکومیت رژیم غاصب اسراییل پیشتاز بوده و تعداد زیادی از دانشجویانش توسط پلیس دستگیر شده اند، دانشگاه کلمبیا در آمریکا است. 
رییس دانشگاه کاشان نامه ای خطاب به رییس دانشگاه کلمبیای آمریکا در این خصوص با ایمیل ارسال نمود که این نامه توسط رییس دانشگاه کلمبیا اعلام وصول شد.
متن این نامه به شرح زیر است:

Dear Professor Nemat Shafik,
 President of Columbia University

The news of the arrest of dozens of students of Columbia University by the police caused me great regret and concern. The usurping and criminal regime of Israel has deliberately martyred more than 34 thousand innocent people, including thousands of children and thousands of women. All the free people of the world, including students, cannot tolerate all the cruelty and brutality of the Israeli regime. I don't know how you are willing to watch these heartbreaking scenes and remain silent. The world expects you as a scientist to condemn these crimes. It is not appropriate for the right-seeking and free students to fall into the hands of the merciless police. Please, out of respect for humanity, order the release of all students and console them personally.
