Mehrdad Radji Kermani

Dr. Mehrdad R. Kermani received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical and Computer Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology and Iran University of Science and Technology in 1994 and 1997, and his Ph.D. degree in electrical and Computer Engineering-Robotics from The University of Western Ontario in 2005, respectively.

During his Ph.D., Dr. Kermani was a visiting worker at the Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Institute (IMTI) of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). He was an NSERC postdoctoral fellow and associate researcher at the Canadian Surgical Technologies & Advanced Robotics (CSTAR) in 2005.

At present, Dr. Kermani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Western Ontario. From 1997 to 2001, he was a senior automation engineer at Foolad Technic International Engineering Company (FEI Co.) , Iran.
