A Delegation from University of Vienna Visits Kashan

On May 21, a delegation from University of Vienna visited University of Kashan. The delegation, compromised of Professor Markus Reitter along with his 21 MA students in Islamic Arts, visited the campus. A presentation was delivered by Professor Markus Reitter on “Solomon Floor Like Water in Early Islamic Palaces” in English. In this speech, valuable information on glass architecture and decoration was presented to the audience who were mainly professors and graduate students of University of Kashan. The delegation also visited University of Kashan archeology professors’ gallery of discovered items for 2018. Furthermore, preliminary negotiations for signing a MoU between Faculty of Arts – University of Vienna and Faculty of Architecture and Art – University of Kashan was evaluated and hopefully will take place in near future.
