Iranian Directors of International Scientific Cooperation Offices Meet at University of Kashan

The 15^th meetings of Deputies and Directors of International Scientific Cooperation has taken place at University of Kashan, where Prof. Salar Amoli, the acting minister for International Scientific Cooperation of MSRT, respected ambassadors of Australia, Indonesia, Hungary, and Switzerland, Chancellor of University of Kashan, General Director of Financial Support of Deputy for Research of MSRT, and more than 100 deputies of international cooperation of Iranian universities, research institutions and science and technology parks were present.

In this meeting, Prof. Salar Amoli, expressed his gratitude to the respected ambassadors, university chancellors and university deputies, and elaborated on three main topics of ‘implementing joint research projects internationally and having an active contribution on internationalization of Iranian universities and research institutions’, ‘involving science and technology at different levels and in various social, economic, political and cultural activities of the society’ and ‘expanding technical and vocational trainings for further expanding the link between university and society’. Moreover, emphasis was also made on the importance of sustaining international academic, educational and research cooperation between Iranian universities and abroad, as well as adopting a systematic approach on joint research cooperation between Iranian leading house universities and their partner universities abroad.

Furthermore, participants of this meeting attended and share ideas on three main technical panels of ‘Iran’s rank in international research’, ‘management of international research’, and ‘ranking of Iranian universities, research institutions and science and technology parks’.
