University of Kashan Team Achieves the Most Creative Design in 10th World Chem-E-Car Competition

In the 10th World Congress of Chemical Engineering and Chem-E-Car Competition, Barcelona, Spain, University of Kahan succeeded in achieving The Most Creative Design. This competition was hold under the supervision of the American Institute of Chemical Engineering.
University of Kashan Team Achieves the Most Creative Design in 10th World Chem-E-Car Competition

In the 10th World Congress of Chemical Engineering and Chem-E-Car Competition, Barcelona, Spain, University of Kahan succeeded in achieving The Most Creative Design. This competition was hold under the supervision of the American Institute of Chemical Engineering.

Dr. Abdollah Irankhah, faculty member of University of Kashan as the supervisor of this team, stated that, University of Kashan team, Heeva, participated in this competition during Oct. 1-5, 2017 and won this rank for the Univerity.
Amir Abdollah Ghazi, Erfan Omid Najaf Abadi, Abbas Ali Sabbaghian, Kousar Yaseen, and Mohadesseh Aarezi were the members of Heeva team. In this year’s competition, representatives of 23 countries participated.

 
This was the first time that Univesity of Kashan participated in World Chem-E-Car Competition and could achieve a rank in it, said Dr. Irankhaah. University of Kashan’s Chem-E-Car team has gained top positions in the national competitions for the last five years.


Chem-E-Car is an annual college competition for students majoring in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. The designed cars must operate using "green" methods, which do not release any pollution or waste in the form of a visible liquid or gas.
Other teams from Iran, Amirkabir University of Technology and Persian Gulf University both achieved the first rank in Poster Competition and Performance, repectively.
