French Ambassador, Sorbonne University Chancellor visit University of Kashan

In this visit, University of Kashan Chancellor, Prof. Abbas Zeraat, presented a report on University’s activities. During this meeting various cooperation fields between Sorbonne and other French Universities were discussed.

University of Kashan chancellor invited the French ambassador to visit University of Kashan campus which was welcomed by him.

In this meeting, it was agreed that the head of Iran-France Friendship Association should consider various cooperation capabilities in order to arrange the preliminary steps for signing a memorandum of understanding between the two universities.

The French ambassador declared his country’s great interest in connecting French and Iranian universities, and that he will do his best to make the connection between University of Kashan and French universities especially Sorbonne University possible.

In this meeting, there were other prominent figures like head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran and former Iranian Ambassador to France with whom university chancellor negotiated. Dr. Namvar Motlagh, head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran, stated that Kashan is among the three candidates for the pole of Handicraft industry in Iran.
