University of Kashan Holds Workshop on UN’s Activities

During the workshop, Ms. Nazanin Ghaem Maghami, Librarian of United Nations Information Center in Iran, elaborated on how to retrieve the general information about United Nations and its history, main pillars of this global organization, and the Millennium Development Goals through the UN website.

Maria Dotsenko, head of UNIC in Iran, noted that the aim of holding this workshop is to familiarize students with UN. Learning more about UN’s structure, background, pillars of UN, documents and files, multimedia resources, and various field related to these objectives were the goals of this workshop, added Maria Dotsenko.

Participants learned about the process of retrieving information from UN’s website.

An exhibition of photographs and historical documents of UN and Iran’s cooperation was also held in University of Kashan.
