Collaboration between University of Kashan, SEG to expand educational opportunities

A delegation from Swiss Education Group (SEG) visited university of Kashan and talked to the University authorities and city officials in order to expand cooperation in the field of hospitality and tourism management, Monday 30^th May, 2016.

The meeting was held with the presence of directors and representatives from municipality, departments for natural resources and environment, and cultural heritage and tourism at the University of Kashan. In the beginning, Prof. Abbas Zeraat, the Uninersity Chancellor, said the purpose of this meeting is to discuss creating trilateral cooperation between the University, Swiss Education Group (SEG), and the city authorities to expand tourism industry and hospitality within the town. He added Kashan with its world famous sites including Sialk Mounds, Fin garden, Village of Abyaneh, Grand Bazar, Historical houses, and many other historical and natural attractions has a great potential in tourism industry. He referred to education as the most important preliminary measures for the development of tourist industry in the region.

Mr. Alain Bélizaire, director of marketing from SEG, also underscored Kashan’s potentials in tourism industry.  He declared the Swiss Education Group as a world leading hospitality education network that has built strong ties with hospitality leaders across the globe. He added all programmes of the SEG combine academic learning with practical experience and are designed to meet the needs of hospitality employers. All member schools are subject to a stringent academic quality assurance which ensures students receive the renowned high-level of Swiss education.
