University of Kashan Journal was indexed in ISI Web Of Science

 "Iranian Journal of Mathematical Chemistry" published by University of Kashan was accepted as the ISI journal.

Professor Seyed Alireza Ashrafi, editor-in-chief and deputy of research of mathematics faculty said, 15 number of “Iranian Journal of Mathematical Chemistry” has been issued electronically so far, 10 of which were also published in paper.

 He added several factors are taken into account when evaluating journals for coverage in Web of Science, including the number of scientific papers, high quality of articles, citation data, timeliness publication, indexing in scientific databases, using eligible software and website and so forth.

He also noted that ISI, using three types information ranging from the qualitative to the quantitative, is one of the world's major indexing services for indexing all cited references, which also contains the full bibliographic information about the articles published in journals.

The journal also has got the second rank in the field of chemistry among national scientific journals by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology this year.
