Dr. Mahmoud Akbari added that this achievement is the result of accumulating over 1,000 points from the indices and coefficients stipulated in Article (6) of the Regulations for the Organization of Universities and Higher Education and Research Institutions. Consequently, the organizational rank of University of Kashan has been promoted from Level 2 to Level 1.
Dr. Akbari further noted that the upgrade of the University to organizational Level 1 not only enhances its prestige among the country's higher education and research institutions and yields related benefits but also creates significant new capacities. Among the most important of these are:

- The provision for a consultant position for each of the university's deputy offices.
- The provision for a deputy directorate position for each of the university's management departments.
- The potential to establish a maximum of 5 specialized campuses, subject to approval by the University Board of Trustees. (A specialized campus is defined as an entity comprising multiple faculties/research institutes or independent educational/research groups, established to promote decentralization and enhance the efficiency of educational, research, and executive processes, in consideration of the scope of activities and diversity of academic fields. It can significantly bolster the university's development and progress in these areas.)
