Publication of the 42nd Issue (No. 2) of the Scientific Quarterly Journal of Mystical Studies
The 42nd issue (No. 2) of the scientific quarterly journal "Mystical Studies" was published in 452 pages in the month of Esfand of the current year, marking the final days of its twenty-first year of publication.
Dr. Hossein Heydari, the Managing Director of this scientific journal, stating that the publication has held a scientific rank from the Ministry of Science since June 2008, added: "The thematic content of the journal's articles encompasses studies of diverse mystical traditions, the states, sayings, and works of mystics throughout the world."
He titled the articles presented in this issue as follows: "An Analysis of the Position of Nature in Rumi's Pedagogical System," "Khorkheh Farar's Critique of Essentialism and Structuralism," "An Analytical Approach to the Chetic Scholarly Tradition," "The Rifai Order in Asia Minor," "A Semantic Model in Poetry Interpretation," "Sufi Authors' Approach to Sama," "Auditory Sources in Ruh al-Arwah," "The Supra-rational Abstraction of the Soul in Ibn Arabi's Thought," and "The Manifestation of the Burhan al-Siddiqin in the Masnavi."
He further noted: "This issue also features articles on: 'The Typology of Mystical Works in the 3rd and 4th Centuries in Relation to Power Institutions,' 'Female Ascetics: Their Attributes and Miracles in Mystical Texts,' 'A Critique of Symbolic and Allegorical Interpretations of Satan from the Perspective of the Holy Qur'an,' 'A Critical Analysis of the Meaning of Love from Mulla Sadra's Perspective,' and 'A Comparative Analysis of the Conceptualization of the Heart in the Ghazals of Attar and Hafez.'"
