The University of Kashan Achieves Rank 7 in the QS 2025 Ranking System

The Deputy for Research and Scientific Communications at the University of Kashan announced that, according to the latest results of the 2025 QS Asia University Rankings, the University of Kashan has secured rank 7 among comprehensive universities in Iran.

Dr. Hossein Khorasani-Zadeh stated that a total of 1,529 Asian universities and 48 universities from the Islamic Republic of Iran were included in the QS Asia 2025 rankings. He added that, based on these results, the University of Kashan ranked 7th among the comprehensive universities of Iran, 16th among all universities and higher education institutions nationwide, and 101st among universities in South Asia.

He explained that the 2025 QS Asia ranking methodology employs 11 indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-to-student ratio, international research network, citations per paper, citations per faculty member, proportion of faculty holding doctoral degrees, ratio of international faculty, ratio of international students, inbound student exchange, and outbound student exchange.

The Deputy for Research and Scientific Communications further noted that, similar to the previous year, the University of Kashan earned its highest scores in the indicators of citations per paper, proportion of faculty with doctoral degrees, and citations per faculty member, with scores of 95.6, 82.8, and 70.9, respectively.
