Central Laboratory of the University of Kashan Ranks 7th Among Laboratories Affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology

The Vice President for Research and Scientific Communications of the University of Kashan announced that the Central Laboratory of the University of Kashan has achieved 7th place among 296 laboratories affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT), and 27th place among all laboratories across the country.

Dr. Hossein Khorasani Zadeh referred to the announcement of the 2024 performance evaluation results of member centers of the National Laboratory Network and stated that the outcomes indicate a significant improvement in the ranking of the Central Laboratory of the University of Kashan, as well as remarkable growth in its laboratory activities and service delivery.

He explained that during this one-year evaluation period, 549 laboratories affiliated with the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy were assessed. Based on the published results, the Central Laboratory of the University of Kashan advanced 109 ranks compared to 2023, achieving the 27th position among all member laboratories of the national network.

The Vice President for Research and Scientific Communications further added that the Central Laboratory of the University of Kashan secured the 7th rank among 296 laboratories under the supervision of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.

He noted that the laboratories ranking 1st to 6th belonged respectively to Sharif University of Technology, Institute for Color Science and Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology, Materials and Energy Research Center, and the University of Gilan. He emphasized that in 2023, the Central Laboratory of the University of Kashan had been ranked 32nd, indicating a substantial improvement.

Dr. Khorasani Zadeh also stated that at the provincial level, among 70 member laboratories of the Strategic Laboratory Network in Esfahan Province, the Central Laboratory of the University of Kashan ranked 3rd, following the private laboratories of Azmouneh Foolad Consulting Engineers and Me’yar Danesh Pars Company, and ahead of Isfahan University of Technology and the University of Isfahan. In comparison, in 2023, the Central Laboratory of the University of Kashan had been ranked 8th among the laboratories of Esfahan.
