Completion of the Evaluation of Recruitment and Employment Conversion Files at the University of Kashan

The head of the Secretariat of the Faculty Recruitment Committee announced the completion of the evaluation process for the applicants of the 2024 faculty recruitment call and the employment conversion files of academic staff members.

Dr. Mehdi Ghazanfari stated that, with divine guidance and through the continuous efforts and cooperation of the faculty scientific competency review committees, the public qualification review committee, the research office, and the staff of the Faculty Recruitment Secretariat—as well as through regular and weekly meetings of the university’s Recruitment Committee since the beginning of the current year—the review of recruitment applications from the 2024 call and the employment conversion files of the academic staff at the University of Kashan has been completed.

He explained that, in the 2024 recruitment call, 215 applicants registered for tenure-track positions at the University of Kashan across 13 academic fields in the Mehr Razavi Comprehensive System. Out of these, 114 candidates successfully passed the initial screening stage and were referred to the faculty scientific competency review committees. Following in-person academic interviews conducted by these committees, 34 candidates across 14 academic fields were introduced to the committees responsible for public qualification review, research verification, and background checks. Among these, applicants from one academic field did not meet the required academic standards and were therefore excluded from further consideration. After the in-person interviews conducted by the Public Qualification Review Committee, the selected candidates were invited to the meeting of the Faculty Recruitment Committee for comprehensive evaluation. As a result, 14 applicants across 13 academic fields were approved by the Recruitment Committee of the University of Kashan and are now awaiting final approval from the Central Recruitment Committee of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of 2025, a total of 16 employment conversion files of academic staff members at the University of Kashan have been reviewed and discussed by the Recruitment Committee.

In addition to the 2024 recruitment and employment conversion cases, the university’s Recruitment Committee, in collaboration with the Secretariat staff, has also reviewed six pending and incomplete cases from the September and February 2023 recruitment calls.
