Publication of a Faculty Member’s Paper from the University of Kashan in a Journal with an Impact Factor of 40

The Vice President for Research and Academic Communications at the University of Kashan announced that a paper by Dr. Farshad Bourbour Azhdari, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, Department of Physical Chemistry, has been published in the journal Progress in Materials Science, which holds an impact factor of 40.

Dr. Khorasani-Zadeh added that the paper, entitled “Advanced strategies to boost sustainable high-rate Ni-rich cathodes toward durable LIBs,” is the result of collaborative research conducted by Dr. Farshad Bourbour Azhdari in cooperation with Parnaz Asghari, Fereshteh Abbasi (graduate students at the University of Kashan), as well as Sasan Rostami, Ali Asghar Sadeghi Qazvini, and Ali Molaei Aghdam.

The aforementioned journal, according to the latest update from Clarivate Analytics’ Journal Citation Reports (2024), is indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) under the subject category Materials Science, Multidisciplinary. It ranks third among indexed journals in this category, belongs to the first quartile (Q1), and has an H-index of 255 according to Scimago Journal Rank (SJR).
