Statement of the University of Kashan on the recent developments in the region and condemnation of the criminal attack of the Zionist regime on the holy land of the Islamic Republic of Iran

In recent days, the world has once again witnessed a criminal attack on an independent country and a historic and proud civilization, by an inhuman and brutal regime that has a long-standing habit of aggression and whose dirty hands have been stained with the blood of many innocent people, such as the people of Gaza, since its inception. The brutal Zionist attack on the sacred soil of the Islamic Republic and the killing of a group of commanders, scientists, and citizens of this proud land brought instructive and painful lessons to the Iranian nation, including the need for constant preparedness in the political and military arena of today's deceitful world and avoiding trusting the enemy and ignoring his deceit even when he is sitting on the other side of the negotiating table.

However, in this time of fear and danger, the academic community was in the context and heart of the incident from the beginning and offered great martyrs to sacrifice Islamic honor and national pride. Scientists who, according to the global scientific databases, each had dozens of research projects and technical achievements and hundreds of scientific articles on issues related to world peace, serving the welfare and comfort of humans, and strengthening human rights, and ultimately, sacrificed their lives to save humanity from the taint of the Zionist scoundrels.

There is no doubt that this cowardly attack, accompanied by the all-round support of the great powers, especially the weapons and intelligence support of the United States, the shameful silence of organizations claiming human rights and world order and peace, and even the treacherous preparation of the Secretary General of the Atomic Energy Agency, is inflicting damage on our national wealth, basic infrastructure, and scientific and technological achievements, especially in the nuclear field. However, on the other hand, based on divine wisdom and special divine care, it has paved the way for other social and spiritual achievements in Iranian society. In such a way that we are witnessing the crystallization of national unity, social solidarity, and the redefinition of a kind of dynamic social trust along with manifestations of sympathy and collective cooperation among various strata, and in fact, it has once again been proven with complete clarity and certainty that the honorable and brave nation of Iran, as in previous centuries, will not bow down to any aggressor or rebel, but will rather rub its nose in the dirt in such a way that it becomes an example for the world.

In these circumstances, what attracts attention is the great mission and sensitive and great responsibility of the people of the knowledge and culture region, the educated and respected academics, in explaining, raising awareness, and creating hope among the members of society; a mission that weighs heavily on the shoulders of every academic, including professors, students, and employees, and continuous efforts are necessary to fulfill it. Only then can the university create a new historical and honorable experience, as in the era of the Sacred Defense and the Corona era.

In carrying out this great mission and in response to the expectations of society from activists in the field of scientific jihad to explain the conditions and depict the true scene of the confrontation between the world of the domination of arrogant powers and the world of resistance of free, awakened and aware nations, in the intellectual, cultural and political arena, it is appropriate for all thinkers, scholars, researchers and academic experts, while paying attention to the sensitivity and importance of the current situation, to strive to play their decisive role at this time by emphasizing scientific knowledge and experiences, and by continuing to conduct groundbreaking research and effective and up-to-date research, especially in areas related to the basic needs and military and economic challenges of society, to take effective steps towards the prosperity, authority and self-sufficiency of our beloved Iran, and thus, in a practical and visible way, to confront and vigorously confront the foolish stances of every enemy, including the exaggerations of the likes of the US President and the criminal acts of the likes of the Prime Minister of the occupying government.

On this basis, academics, including faculty members, staff, and students of Kashan University, while denouncing and condemning the Zionist regime's brutal aggression on the pure soil of Islamic Iran and offering condolences for the martyrdom of the great commanders and esteemed nuclear scientists, declare that, as in the past, they are ready to strive, fight, and sacrifice in line with the ideals of the Islamic Republic system, and will strive with all their might to neutralize the conspiracy of the arrogant front to weaken the Islamic nation by improving the level of education and research, training diligent and educated students, and contributing to the country's technological, industrial, and economic infrastructure
