UoK 2nd in Citations Nationally, THE Asian University Rankings 2023

Vice-chancellor for Research at the University of Kashan, Dr. Mehdi Shabani, revealed that the institute has been ranked 2^nd in citation criteria among all public state universities of Iran.

With an overall score of 41.0 and 76.3 in citations, University of Kashan is placed 157 in Asia, following Shahid Madani University of Tabriz, Iran.

THE Asian University Rankings 2023 observes 5 criteria of higher education institutes annually (Citations, Industry Income, International Outlook, Research, and Teaching) and concludes its findings with on overall score for each institute. University of Kashan, together with University of Tehran, have reached an overall score of 41, placing them on 20^th place among all universities of the nation, 157^th among Asian universities. In 2023 edition of THE Asian University Rankings, 928 universities from 26 countries are evaluated, 65 of which are from Iran.
