University of Kashan Mourns the Passing of Prof. Alireza Ashrafi

Professor Alireza Ashrafi, faculty member at the University of Kashan, also a Member of the Iranian Mathematical Society, the American Mathematical Society, and the International Academy of Mathematical Chemistry, passed away on a fatal accident on Monday January 9^th, 2023.

Dr. Abbas Ketabi, the Chancellor at the university, in expressing his deepest condolences to the family members of Professor Ashrafi and the faculty and students of the insitute, recounted this tragic calamity as a great loss for the scientific society of Iran and the world.

Professor Ashrafi’s dedication to scientific endeavors for Iran and his work ethics in flourishing the talents of the institute will be forever missed at the University of Kashan.
