UoK Publishes Highest Number of Papers Among Public State Universities

Dr. Ahmadizadeh, Director of the Central Library and Publications at the university, informed that according to Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), the University of Kashan has published the highest number of papers in scientific journals among public state universities. The university has also been the 4^th higher education institute among all national universities in December 2022-January 2023 in number of publications, considering the Median Impact Factor or MIF.

He also mentioned that in other criteria of publication of scientific findings, the academics of the institute had a successful appearance. Over, in aggregate impact factor, the university was ranked 11^th, in journal impact factor, 9^th, and in publication per faculty member was ranked 3^rd in Iran.

Elaborating more on the latest announcement of ISC, Dr. Ahmadizadeh revealed that the University of Kashan publications per graduate student was ranked second in Islamic Republic of Iran.

Islamic World Science Citation Database is a citation index established by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology after it was approved by the Organisation of the Islamic Conference.
