Clarivate’s ESI Puts 6 UoK Faculty at Highly Cited Researchers List

Dr. Ahmadizadeh, Head of the Central Library and Publications at the university, revealed that in November’s list of highly indexed researchers of the world by Essential Science Indicator, there are 840 top researchers with Iranian affiliations, 6 of which are faculty members from the University of Kahsan.

Dr. Amadizadeh revealed the following are considered as top 1% researchers of the world in their respective scientific fields: Dr. Masood Salavati Niasar, Dr. Mohammad Arefi, Dr. Ali Ghorbanpor, Dr. Aliakbar Abbasian, Dr. Mahdi Mohammadimehr, and Dr. Akbar Mohebi.

The list of top 1% highly cited researchers is a report of researchers in 22 subject areas in Clarivate Analytics (WOS) in (ESI) over 10 years. In this way, researchers in each field are sorted according to the number of citations they have received, and then ESI top 1% researchers are considered as the scientific elite. Therefore, the criterion for selecting the top one percent of researchers is the number of citations made to their scientific results. Accordingly, researchers who have been able to achieve the highest level of international prestige based on their research activities in the last ten years are among top 1% highly cited researchers.
