Webometrics Puts University of Kashan Top 10 in Iran, 1657 Worldwide
The latest edition of Webometrics released on January 2020 places University of Kashan in the 1657th rank worldwide, 21st among Iranian Universities, and 8th among public state universities of the country. It is worth mentioning that University of Kashan has stepped up 169 ranks compared to last year’s results.

The "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities" is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain. The Cybermetrics Lab, part of the CSIC, is devoted to the quantitative analysis of the Internet and Web contents specially those related to the processes of generation and scholarly communication of scientific knowledge. This is a new emerging discipline that has been called Cybermetrics or Webometrics.
