7 Highly Cited Researchers at UoK in 2019

Annually, WoS (Web of Science) and ESI (Essential Science Indicators) jointly reveal a list of highly cited researchers since 2002. In 2019’s 7 faculty members at University of Kashan has been listed among scientists who had influential publications and has been cited among the top 1% researchers of the world.  Based on ISC reports, Prof. Dr. Alireza Ashrafi, Dr. Abbas Saadatmandi, and Dr. Akbar Mohebbi from Faculty of Mathematics, along with faculty members Dr. Masoud Salavati Niasar, Dr. Ali Ghorbanpour, Dr. Mohammad Arefi, and Dr. Reza Kolahchi has been listed in this year’s release, informed Dr. Majid Monemzadeh, Vice-chancellor for Research at University of Kashan.

Based on the results made public, Prof. Alireza Ashrafi with a total number of 197 papers and an H-Index of 22, Dr. Ali Ghorbanpour with 154 papers and an H-Index of 29, and Dr. Abbas Saadatmandi with 37 papers and an H-Index of 17 has the highest ranks in University of Kashan. Dr. Masoud Salavati Niasar has been active in cross-field performance in three fields of chemistry, material sciences, and engineering.

The Web of Science Group, a Clarivate Analytics company released its annual list of Highly Cited Researchers earlier this week. The highly anticipated list identifies scientists and social scientists who produced multiple papers ranking in the top 1% by citations for their field and year of publication, demonstrating significant research influence among their peers.
