2nd International Conference on Rosa Damascena 2019 Commences

University of Kashan’s 2^nd International Conference on Rosa Damascena 2019 began at Essential Oils Research Institute, Qamsar on November 13, 2019. Researchers and scholars from United States, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Norway, and Pakistan are among the participants of this conference.

Abbas Zeraat, chancellor of University of Kashan, in the opening ceremony of this international academic conference, stressed out the importance of such gatherings in enhancing the connection of academia with industries. One of the most important goals of promotion of knowledge is to publicize it, he pointed out and hoped that the workshops and meetings of the conference would provide academic solutions to problems of the rose water and essential oils industry.

Dr. Mohammadbagher Rezaei, the scientific secretary of ICRD 2019, informed that more than 90 papers were send to the secretariat of the conference. Almost 60 of them were accepted and will be presented orally or in posters during this 3-days academic gathering.

The findings of scholars and researchers of this conference will be published in the 1^st journal on Rosa Damascena. Also, the Rosa Damascena 2019 book will be published in English and will be available to the public.
