University of Kashan Holds 2nd in 2020 THE Ranking
University of Kashan holds the 2nd place among public state universities in 2020 Times Higher Education Ranking for the second consecutive year. This institute was ranked 3rd among all Iranian universities and higher education institutions.
"University of Kashan is placed among the top 501-600 universities worldwide for 2020. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings includes almost 1,400 universities across 92 countries for 2020. It is worth mentioning that Iran has 11 more ranked universities compared to last year’s ranking, to take its representation up to 40 institutions," informed Dr. Majid Monem Zadeh, vice-chancellor for research at University of Kashan.
According to its website, Times Higher Education World University Rankings was founded in 2004 providing the definitive list of the world’s best universities. Its team of data experts evaluates world-class universities against 13 separate performance indicators, covering the full range of a top university’s essential areas of activity: teaching (educational spaces), research (reputation and incomes), knowledge transfer (research impact) and international outlook (academic members, students, and research).
