University of Kashan Top 150 Internationally -THE Young University Rankings

In the latest edition of THE Young University Rankings for 2019, University of Kashan stands among the 101-150 higher education institutes that has been established under 50 years ago.

Vice-Chancellor for Research, Dr. Majid Monem Zadeh, added: In the latest ranking at Times Higher Education ranking which focused on the best universities under 50 years old, 13 Iranian universities were included of which University of Kashan stands out as the first public state university in the country.

THE’s 2019 Young University Rankings reveal the best universities under 50 years old, assessing them across teaching, research, international outlook and their work with industry. In fact, the ranking was created using the same methodology as the THE World University Rankings, but the weightings were recalibrated to reflect the missions of younger universities.

The following universities were included in the rankings:

University of Kashan – 101-150

Shiraz University of Technology – 151-200

Iran University of Medical Sciences – 201-250

University of Mazandaran – 201-250

Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University – 251-300

University of Guilan – 251-300

University of Zanjan – 251-300

University of Birjand – 301+

Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman – 301+

Shahrood University of Technology – 301+

Yazd University – 301+
