University of Kashan Professor Wins 2 Awards on Kilim Design

Dr. Ghashghaei Far, professor at Department of Carpet, University of Kashan, received two national badges on Kilim design in the 4ht National Handicraft Quality Mark.

This ceremony is held every two years at province and national level and judges evaluate the design of handicrafts made by Iranian artists with 4 indicators in mind: quality, authenticity, innovation, and marketability.

This professor of University of Kashan has achieved 10 national badges in carpet and handicraft so far. The winner of this award will also be able to attend the ceremonies regarding Handicraft designs established by UNESCO.
